Reading is an essential part of our lives. We read books for information, nessecity, pleasure and interest. A recent survey indicated that millions of Haitians lack reading and writing skills. A recent poll revealed that 85% of the Haitian population is illiterate. According to our own personal research, we found out that 97.75 of the Haitian population is not interested in reading.Also, the average Haitian only budgets.3375% of his or her personal income for literature and art.
